Sovereign Upholstery uses the best materials to construct, repair and refill cushions and furniture padding.
A variety of New Zealand made, Dunlop Elephant foams which carry a 10 year warranty are routinely used for new cushion filling.
If assistance is required with chosing a suitable upholstery fabric or leather, we are very happy to provide advice. Not all fabric patterns and textures will conform or suit any piece of furniture.

Headboards, ottomans & footstools
At Sovereign Upholstery Limited, we don't just reupholster existing furniture. Peter can also can also help you coordinate the rest of your room with tailor-made footstools, ottomans or headboards.
Footstools can be made with a fixed top or the top can be hinged for storage - depending on the style of the footstool.
Headboards are made to measure. The finished styles are endless. Examples are plain and smooth, diamond buttoned, panelled, piped, etc. Peter can help you with the design and matters such as the best way to either wall hang or attach your headboard to your bed. Headboard can be installed by yourself or Peter can do this for you for a small additional cost.
Pick-up and delivery service
For small items of furniture, Sovereign Upholstery is often able to provide a free pick-up and delivery service to Matamata-Piako and central Tauranga addresses.
For larger and heavier pieces of furniture, there may be an additional charge for pick-up and delivery.
Our service availability in these situations is conditional upon clients providing an additional person to help lift the furniture. Furniture must also be located at ground floor level. No stair climbing to be required.
